Winning will make you famous. Losing means certain death.

In a dark vision of the near future, twelve boys and twelve girls are forced to appear in a live  TV show called the Hunger Games. There is only one rule: killed or be killed.

When sixteen-year-old Katniss Everdeen steps forward to take her sister's place in the games, she sees it as a death before. For her, survival is second nature.

Those girls and boys are called ''Tributes'' and they must kill the other to survive. It must be only ONE winner, but this time something will be different, because the relationship between the two main tributes in the story become special. The stage of these trilogy of book and film series is in the district 12 in Panem and in the arena where they fight. The arena is a place controlled by many men under the command of evil.

Our advice is to keep your eyes on her, who turns the film into a victory by presenting a heroine propelled by principle instead of hooking up the cutest boy.

Josh Hutcherson as Peeta Mellark  

    

Some may see Peeta as a sweet, lovelorn boy. We don't. We see him as the ultimate revolutionary. As a revolutionary in a repressive, hopeless place like Panem, one become quite  complicated.

Liam Hemsworth as Gale Hawthorne 

He is very important for the story because he is one of the three members of the love triangle. He's also very different from Peeta and we notice that, he acts like a good boy but through the threee films he becomes worse.

      

           

Elizabeth Banks as Effie Trinket

She's the escort of Peeta and Katniss, she also has a good actitude about The Hunger Games (something unusual). She's always trying to encourage them but it's in vain.She has a peculiar capitol accent and we love her costumes.                                                                    

Donal Sutherland as President Coriolanus Snow

He's the antagonist, his arm is the poison and he hates Katniss. He's the presidentof Panem for 25 years.He has the total power in the gouvernment of Panem has proven to be a cruel and manipulate dictator with the Capitol and its districts.

Let's talk about who created this... Her name is Suzanne Collins.

The idea of this book came with an obsession with mythology when she read the story of Theseus. The Greek myth of Theseus, in which the city of Athens is forced to send seven men and seven young women to Crete to be devoured by the Minotaur but it has commented that Collins has really based it on the acclaimed 1999 book, Battle Royale, the Japanese writer Koushun Takami, who inspired the film of the same title that directed Kinji Fukasaku.

Finally in our opinion you must be always prepared for death. You shouldn't love any character because you don't know what will happen to him or her. Constant suspense ... You won't stop watching. If you need more, you should read the book.
